Asyia Iftikhar is a freelance culture journalist with a deep love for TV, film, theatre, books and all things showbiz. She has a particular interest in covering the intersection of culture with LGBTQ+ issues, race and gender.

After winning the Hearst Talent Scholarship in 2021 she has since written for PinkNews, Digital Spy, Bustle, Glamour, gal-dem and more, reporting on the latest cultural trends and interviewing A-List talent.

Her work has also been published in the Critical Muslim anthology, “Transitions”.
